Err, appearance&layout?

What you're going to read may seem like flaming, but it really isn't--it's my opinion, feedback~

I think the forum should have a more "professional" look...The buttons in the navigation bar are kind of...mm, what's the word? Blockish? But in general, the appearance is kind of "patch-like". It doesn't flow through, if you get what I mean.

The color scheme could use some work too...Even though Naruto is a pretty popular anime, by using it as the theme for AI alienates all the other anime. For an anime site, it should be more creative-looking? Something that either includes all anime or a theme that's anime-based.

Oh and layout-wise, the anime discussion sub board should just be one board instead of having a LOT of them. With one board, there would just be many topics, and seem more cleaner...The homepage of this forum is kind of long.

And for the "applications" board, I don't think it's necessary for it to be there because, well, no one really posts those things. Same with the "jokes" board...

Um, oh, and some of the boards' descriptions are kind of awkward-sounding...Like the FMA board: "You must definitely be knowing about this popular
anime. Discuss it here". Or Beyblade: "Another popular anime liked by many. Talk about it
here" Or OP: "The famous one piece a mixture of fun,adventure and
action." I just think the descriptions could definitely use some serious editing. The capitalization and grammar aren't right in some of them...

Annnd for the "Tech-Help Desk", it could be included up top with Announcements, Intros, etc. It doesn't fit down in 'Entertainment'.

Oh and also for the Sub-forum name, "Anime Oasis"...I don't think oasis should be the word used...Oasis definition (dictionary.com):
1. a small fertile or green area in a desert region, usually having a spring
or well.
2. something serving as a refuge, relief, or pleasant
change from what is usual, annoying, difficult, etc. eg: The library was an oasis of calm in the hectic city. I think you're trying to say something along the lines of fantasy, or heaven, etc. Not oasis...

This is just my opinion so, of course you don't have to change anything...

Hey thanks for spending your time writing these suggestions.
So I tell you the look of the forum is gonna change completely within a few days.
So you don't need to worry about menu bars,category bars and background.
They all will be changed.
About the forum shortening and the descriptions.
I will take it into consideration.

I agree with Lightbulb. It was quite..harsh on the eyes some days ago. It's all nice now.

But one thing still bothers me: the background. It's just...not okay, IMO. It should have been something more awesome. Maybe I'll help out a little bit with the layout and stuff. Only after 13th of May, though.

EDIT: Another thing: The main 'banner' of the site could have been better. I'll try and make something, if I can, that is.
